Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer medications to residents as prescribed by their Provider
  • Monitor Patient medication intake and document all medication administration activities
  • Maintain accurate records of all medications, including ordering, storing, and disposing of medications as necessary
  • Ensure proper storage of medications and label all medications properly
  • Report any adverse reactions to medications and changes in Patient condition to the Healthcare Team
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuing education programs to remain current on all medication administration regulations
  • Ensure that all medications are in compliance with state and federal regulations
